Man this is the best I have found when working deep water. Teamed with a maximus 12" worm this baby really gets to the bottom and it stands strait up and the big worm. Stands strait up this combination has caught me several big fish on lake fork working road beds. And ponds. Fish can't take the look of it as it's sticking up off the bottom. Been some unreal hard strikes from the bass taking this bait whole. Get you few work the deep water and see what I'm talking about. Xlock the best .

My main use for the X-Lock is fishing it with the Maximus. It is simply the best shakey head for that style of fishing I have found. The hook is great and it is super durable. Here recently I have started using the 1/4 oz as an alternative for flipping. I fish docks and shallow cover a lot through out the year, and I know these shallow fish have seen so many jigs and Texas rigs that they recognize them. So I've started putting a raptor tail junior on it and flipping it. It has most definitely proved itself to me. I've went behind multiple anglers on the same banks or marinas and catch fish behind them. I mean how many people do you know that flip a beefed-up shakey head into laydowns?

The shakeyhead technique is proven to catch more fish when you can get your bait to stand straight up on the bottom. Pair this hook with any Xcite soft plastic and it will do this with every hop, drag, or drop. The hook is desinged to stand up on its head and all Xcite soft plastics are designed to float.
