Product Description

Everyonce in awhile a bait comes along that changes the way we fish.  The Maximus and our X-Lock have done that with deep shakey heading.  Many years ago Aaron Martin from Bass Edge did an interview with us about our Maximus and X-Lock and coined the term power shakey heading.  Since then ledge fishing or deep shakey have never been the same.  The Maximus will stand straight up and float on our X-Lock making it the ultimate deep water shakey head.  Also use it on a Caroling Rig.  It will float up in the water colum each time line is pulled in.  Comes in 14 fish catching colors including the new Plumkin (plum on one side, green pumpkin on the other)  10 1/2" - 5 to a pack

You need the maximus for your arsenaal when the carolina rig is in play at your lake. Try it on ledges on kentuky lake texas rigged.

  2. Excellent Shakey and Texas Rig Worm! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Jun 2015

Used these for the first time during a slow bite Bass fishing in Texas. Bass would pick the worms up and run with them. Ran out that day and the bite was done. Bought several more since then. Great feel, color and smell.

  3. Killer Bait 5 Star Review

These worms are probably the best I have used for big fish. They are very durable and stand up on the Xcite jig head which is what I think triggers most of the strikes. I also Texas rig them around grass lines with good results but for me its all about the deep bite and these worms get it done.
    Thanks for a great product.

Outstanding performance in DEEP water. Primarily rigged on a 3/4 to 1 oz. shaky head, dragging it " SLOWLY' on a low sweeping rod tip.Watch the rod tip bites are suttle. It will feel like you have picked up a leaf.SET the hook with the same side sweeping motion. Most confident colors WATERMELON CANDY & PLUM. Try it you won't be sorry !!

  6. The Best! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Jun 2014

This is one of the best worms I have ever fished. Ledge fish, flip it into deep standing timber, biffle head...just doesn't matter what you want to do with it. The big bass just kill this bait. I fished circles around my team tourney partner about a week ago. He was throwing the Yum version and it wasn't even close. I outfished him 5 to 1. Do yourself a favor and buy some of these!

  7. shines in the grass 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Jun 2014

This worm works great on a 1/2 oz creeper head. Getting great bites working the rig on deep humps with underwater grass. The buoyancy aids the bass in locating the worm and gives the bait a regulated speed of fall.

  8. Best ledge worm on the market 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jun 2014

I've fished all kinds of large straight tail worms, and if will tell anybody there is not a worm out there that fishes as good as this one. It is super durable I went out last year and caught 30 fish over two days having 25+ pound sacks and only used 3 worms. All the colors are great. When you pair this up on the X-Lock and ledge fish you should know you have the best ledge worm on the lake.

  9. The Original 5 Star Review

Other companies have tried to imitate, but the Maximus with the X-lock was the original that started the big straight tail worm technique. Find a ledge, cast it out, and hold on! It produces giants
